Intro
Since the beginning of Dadawan in 2004 I receive illustrations and designs from graphic designers, in various styles. Some of these illustrations gave place to collaborations and series of Tee-shirts (Tomas, Skwak, Koadzn, Tizieu, Shone, Mohini, Phoneticontrol...).

The gallery installation today does not have the role to compete with Threadless for the good reason only which I have neither the same approach in term of tee-shirt or clothing in general nor the same tastes in term of illustrations or graphics in general.

In addition this gallery will be "open and freestyle", open for all, professionals or not, and although a beautiful illustration with a clean execution is required, I think that the idea precedes above all, and an awkward execution can be easily corrected if necessary. Attention that does not mean that I will accept any illustration.

Of course this is only my modest manner of seeing things, I invite you to discuss it if it is necessary, in particular in the BLOG, or in the comments which you will not fail to leave on the illustrations.

How does the gallery works? 
1 votes in progress: illustrations with possibility of commenting on and of voting.
2 selected illustrations: illustrations best noted being able to be the subject of a print. 
3 Tee-shirts to be printed : winning illustrations resulting from the contest.

How to submit?
To propose visual a traditional mode of participation, a little old school nevertheless, because there is no upload function. You send to me your illustration in format GIF or JPEG 72 dpi, 390 pixels (width) X 600 pixels (height), with the title of the illustration and your name on the following email: dadawantshirtcontest@gmail.com and then I occupy myself of the remainder. If your illustration is selected I will have of course need for a file high resolution Photoshop or Illustrator.

How to vote and comment?

Remuneration and contract
Remuneration of 150€ ($170 ) for the first series of 50 pieces. Then it will be 50€ ($60) per series of 50 pieces. Potentially that made 600€ for a series of 500 tshirts... well we will see... Dadawan is more underground than Threadless.
A contract of course will be written between Dadawan and each illustrator.

Selection of the winning illustrations
the selection is done according to the comments and of the notes allotted from 1 to 5.
